Dissemination of architecture grounded in the rigour of its execution.

To promote the dissemination of correct detailing solutions and technical drawing among professionals and students, presenting relevant innovations and helping to prevent construction pathologies.

To incorporate an active social component, as described below.

Formal Framework

The publication House Details Architecture respects the deontological principles of the press and professional ethics, committing itself not to pursue exclusively commercial purposes, nor to distort or omit information, nor to abuse the good faith of its readers.

It reflects a strong social mission, allocating part of its profits — between €450 and €5,000 — to a previously identified individual or social solidarity institution, as indicated on this website.

A specialised periodical publication in architecture.

Editorial Structure

Director and Editor: an architect registered with the Portuguese Order of Architects (OA), partner in an architecture practice in Lisbon. Owner of a bookshop specialising in architecture and holder of a private collection of more than 10,000 books and technical journals. Former Army officer in the Engineering branch (BMI, NATO), an area in which he also worked in civilian life. Author of engineering training programmes delivered to architects and architecture students. Author of books and architecture journals.

Contributors: architects and full members of the OA with more than 25 years of experience in architectural design.

Content Selection

The selection and validation of technical and scientific content are the sole responsibility of the Editor.

Advertising Space

Advertising will be organised in page blocks, according to the applicable table for the European Economic Area.

Advertising space may not exceed 1/25 of the total pagination. The magazine’s editorial board reserves the right to refuse advertising that does not fall within its editorial scope, that contravenes current legislation, or that represents unfair practices from a competitive, environmental or social standpoint.
